"Cubs win fans light fireworks to celebrate"

On October 22nd, 2016 Berwyn, Illinois the Cubs were playing against the Los Angeles Dodgers. They won their game 5-0 after the Cubs won Cub fans were lighting fireworks outside cheering in front of their house’s. Everybody could hear the fireworks in the night and some people were sleeping when they were lighting the fireworks. Cub's fans were so happy that they won and are now going to the World Series since 1907. Cubs fans were distraught when they lost against Cleveland.

  1. Throughout your piece of writing Christian, you have to use commas. For example, when it says, " Berwyn Illinois" you forgot to put a comma between Berwyn and Illinois. The grace note you used was very precise showing their emotion. Also, you have run-on sentences, make sure to have commas for a pause in your sentences. I'm a little perplexed though when you said," when they lost against Cleveland". Use an apostrophe for Cub's fans because an apostrophe comes when something is plural. Cubs fans is plural. You should stay on topic and not jump to when the Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs played against each other because the main focus of your investigative journalism is that the Cubs are entering the World Series while many celebrate. You hit your 5 w's very nice. Your summary was great. Nice job.
